Physical & Occupational Therapy is located in the lower level of our building. 

All PT/OT patients may drive to the back of the building and enter the department through the rear vestibule.  It is NOT necessary to check-in at the main desk on the 2nd floor if you are a PT/OT patient. 

 

          

 

Meet Our Therapists:

 

  Annette Elwood, Occupational Therapist

Annette is an Occupational Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. Annette obtained her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Annette's professional experience includes work in orthopaedic trauma and burn unit settings, with a focus on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Annette recently became a Certified Hand Therapist. 

 

  Kevin Petit, Physical Therapist

Kevin is a full-time Physical Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. He obtained his Master's degree in Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Kevin specializes in spine rehabilitation, gait analysis, and treatment of foot and ankle problems.

 

  Terri Miller, Occupational Therapist

Terri is an Occupational Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. Terri graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Terri is a Certified Hand Therapist.

 

Chad Young, Physical Therapist

Chad is a full-time Physical Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. He graduated from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Chad specializes in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy and the application of functional knee braces for osteoartritis and ligament deficiencies.

 

  Shari Mast, Physical Therapist

Shari is a part-time Physical Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. Shari graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Her primary rehab interests include Orthopaedic rehab and Pediatrics.

 

    Debby Trobaugh, Physical Therapist

Debby is a part-time Physical Therapist at Hess Orthopaedic Rehab. Debby attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Debby enjoys orthopaedics and TMJ.

 

  Debbie Robinson, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Debbie is a part-time LPTA at Hess Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, PLC. Debbie has been assisting therapists in the area for 12 years.


 

What else does Hess Orthopaedic Rehab offer?

 

Exercise Club

 The exercise club is for independent physical or occupational therapy patients who have completed their treatment and want to continue their therapy exercise program.  We require a prescription from a physician for all Exercise Club participants.  Participants can come to the gym area up to 3 times per week.  The Club is open Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 11:00 am and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  The cost of joining the Exercise Club is $40.00 per month.
